Blu-ray Sony Player BDU-X10S with Wanted Disc
I purchased a Sony Blu-ray BDU-X10S internal player for my computer. I tried playing a rented copy of the movie Wanted and found the movie to studder and skip. After countless hours of trying different Blu-ray player software I found the problem to be the firmware.
This is a warning to all that have bought the BDU-X10S player. UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE!
The thing that really got me was I could play the movie 21 just fine all the way through. After some research it appears the movie companies are constantly changing the encrypted protection on Blu-ray discs. I have a feeling this may lead to constant firmware updates to my new Blu-ray drive.
