I have been learning how to use Jython recently which is a mix between python and java. I decided, for helping me pick football teams this year in my pool, I would create my own program that would randomly generate winners. I was able to compile my code into a jar file for easy distribution. Click here to check it out.
The way it works is you have to click the two teams that are playing each other in succession for all the games each week. Then you click the "randomize winners" button. A list of the predicted winners will be displayed along with the Monday night football overall score.

Here is my first video I uploaded to my Microsoft Silverlight Streaming account. It is a video from January 2008 in Fort Bragg, CA. It was a little foggy.

SwisherTech has gone through some drastic changes this Labor Day weekend. I decided to go with b2evolution a free blogging software to make my life easier. Now I can easily post changes to SwisherTech with ease. b2evolution uses PHP and MySQL to power the site. People can now post comments to my posts and they can be setup with their own blog page. Right now the entire site is running on a virtual machine in Microsoft Virtual PC with Windows Server 2003 R2.
